Question:
What will happen when you put a coffee filter marked with marker into a glass of water?
Hypothesis:
we think when you put the marked coffee filter in the water it will absorb the water and separate the colors.

Don't play with the beakers. Don't drink the water. Don't draw on yourself. |
Procedure:Procedure
1. Draw a line across the middle of the filter strip with one color marker. 2. Place the bottom edge of the coffee filter in the water so that the water does not touch the marker line but comes close (about a half inch to an inch away) 3. Observe. 4. If time, repeat 1-3 with different colors. |
